In 2016, I took a trip to Mexico and this is when I fell in love with guacamole. I enjoyed learning about different cultures and their food types, which gave me a new appreciation for the quality and flavor of food. Being able to travel internationally was a great experience, because I got the opportunity to gain new insight on cooking ideas that I gathered to bring back to my hometown. Whenever I cook a Mexican-Inspired dish, I get excited because my style of cooking is unique, fulfilling, and tasteful. This is a simple dish that can be put together within 15 minutes. When I think of pot pies, I am always wanting to create something different and mouth watering for my love ones. My Creamy Shrimp and Broccoli Pot Pie is a favorite amongst family and friends. The creaminess of the Alfredo Sauce mixed with heavy whipping cream leaves a wonderful experience in your mouth. I enjoy a fulfilling beautiful salad that can be dressed up to catch the eye of individuals who are looking for a healthy food option. Eating healthy doesn't have to be BORING. Making healthy foods can be fun and taste good as well. Meal prepping is another way to save money and eliminate wasted money at the vending machine. Simple cooking is definitely apart of my life because it gives me the ability to discipline myself to not eat out.

Ground Turkey Cheesy Tacos

Recipe Small pack of ground turkey Salsa Sauce Red Onions Melted Cheese Nacho Chips Instructions: Cook the ground turkey until brown (about 10-15 min) Chop up 1/3 cup of red onions or less Once the meat is done, drain the meat in a strainer Heat up 1/2 cup of melted cheese Get out your plate Place the nacho chips in the center of the plate Then the ground turkey on top of the nachos Add the chopped red onions, salsa, and melted cheese This is a very simple meal for everyone to enjoy.
